In Week 3 of Model United Nations training, Team LSE delegates were introduced to the wonderful world of Rules of Procedure (ROP). On the surface, ROP may seem dry or boring; yet they form the bedrock of any foundation in Model UN. From distinguishing Points of Parliamentary Inquiry and Order, to figuring out what a Division of the House entails - our Training Officer Jonathan Lin provided an engaging, step-by-step presentation for all members to gain a better grasp of what ROP is.

Team LSE was proud to see a multitude of fresh, ambitious and committed new faces joining and eagerly participating in debates held last Thursday. Many new delegates with no past MUN experience were presented the difficult task to participate in formal debate, simulate unfamiliar situations and to speak in front of a crowd. Many members excelled under these circumstances, portraying prowess, insightful political judgement and skilled rhetoric whilst augmenting skills needed in formal public discourse.
