We are excited to announce that we have been invited to the International Institute for Strategic Studies for a Student Engagement and Networking Event on the afternoon of Friday the 27th October 2017.

The aims of the event are to:
Ø Allow students to ask questions about research themes and programs from IISS
Ø Get career advice from IISS staff as most have backgrounds in civil service, diplomatic and intelligence services, private sector, academia, journalism, and the military
Ø Network with other students with similar interests and with IISS staff
Ø Give an insight into the relevance and impact of the IISS’ work and engagements
Ø Give members the chance to get to know some of ISSS senior staff
Currently confirmed on the panel are Emile Hokayem, Senior Fellow for the Middle East and Virginia Comolli, Senior Fellow for Security and Development with other speakers to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
The event will be followed by a drinks reception to allow members to network. The afternoon will run for approximately 2.5 hours.
