LSESU UN Society X Grimshaw Club: Visit to The ONE Campaign

As part of a collaboration between the LSE SU UN Society and the LSE SU Grimshaw International Relations Club entitled Diplomacy in Action, visits have been arranged to various international organisations with operations in London, to expose members to the realities of international diplomacy, development, and policy. Our first visit is to The ONE Campaign, an international NGO. We have limited spaces, and registration closes on 14th April.

The ONE Campaign is an international, nonpartisan, non-profit, advocacy and campaigning organisation that fights extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa, by raising public awareness and pressuring political leaders to support policies and programs that are saving lives and improving futures. Headquartered in Washington D.C., with 8 million members globally, ONE has had a significant impact globally, pushing through legislation in countries like the U.S. and Canada, campaigning on issues like girls' education and AIDS, and engaging political leaders across the world to eradicating poverty.
