Having an impressive array of work experience at various international organisations such as several institutions of the European Union in Brussels and the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture, Veronika gained a unique insight into some of the world's most powerful, international organisations. In our discussion, she will be questioning such international organisations', as well as global companies' roles - an especially pertinent discussion in the wake of events like Brexit and the US elections which have reflected negative sentiments in their wake.

More about the speaker - Veronika Dapunt’s (B.A., Mag.Iur.) career to date spans a variety of fields and countries. Having studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the University of Oxford as well as Law at the Universities of Vienna and Paris, Veronika’s ambition was to gain professional experience on an international stage. After completing her studies she worked for the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture, the British Institute of International and Comparative Law as well as several institutions of the European Union in Brussels, gaining unique insight into some of the world’s most influential organisations. Following this Veronika moved on to the private sector and headed up the Business Affairs Department for one of Swarovski’s Executive Board Members as well as established the company’s global foundation.
