Who are we?

WELCOME!

On behalf of the Committee, we warmly welcome you to the official website of the LSESU United Nations Society. As one of the biggest and most operationally diverse societies on the LSE campus, we have something to offer for all members regardless of their discipline, career interest or experience.

We are dedicated to empowering our members with the necessary skills and knowledge about the causes they are passionate about and provide them with a platform to discuss global peace & security, humanitarian, environmental and socio-economic issues. We promote the work and values of the United Nations not just through academic conferences that promote discussion and debate through role play, but also through volunteering, campaigning, speaker events, career support and transferable skills development.
